Employee Biography:

My husband Chan and I have been married for over 12 years.  We have three children- Olivia (9 years old) and twins Avery and Owen (7 years old).  Right now our lives revolve around our kids’ sports- soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and softball.  When we do have a break in our schedules, we like to visit family in Colorado.

Over your 15 years with WIC, what has helped you the most to remain committed to the Program?

I have held several positions/titles in my past 17 + years.  I have been a Nutrition Supervisor, WIC Director, Vender Manager, Training Clinic Coach and a WIC RD.  The variety in positions has kept the past 17 yrs fun, however, it has been my friendships with awesome coworkers and relationships with clients that has kept me at WIC.  The rewarding thing about WIC is that you can maintain long-term relationships with clients.  Clients that were coming off the program because they were turning 5 yrs old, are now returning with their own babies.  I love that they remember how welcomed they felt as a child and are now trusting us with their own families.
